Clerics from Northern Nigeria have shared what God revealed to them concerning President Muhammadu Buhari’s health during a special prayer session.
The clerics under the auspices of the Northern Interfaith and Religious Organization for Peace said God gave them the revelation during a special prayer session for the peace, good governance and leadership of the country under Buhari, which was held in Abuja.
The group say God revealed to them that President Muhammadu Buhari’s life was preserved so he can fulfill his mission, adding that Nigeria will express a great harvest and turn-around under the leadership of president Buhari.
In a statement, National Coordinator of the group, Bishop Musa Fomson urged Nigerians not to be deterred by the president’s current health status, while assuring that he would soon bounce back and continue the good job he had started.
Stressing that Buhari is on a mission in the country and should be allowed to complete it, Fomson likened the President to the biblical Hezekiah, explaining that God has put the enemy of the nation into shame by extending the life span of the president on earth. In his words:
“It was revealed to the assembly that President Muhammadu Buhari remains God’s answer to the prayer of Nigerians for a leader that would make afflictions, pains and hunger things of the past.
“The Lord revealed to the gathering of the anointed clergies that Boko Haram has long been defeated about a year ago and those carrying out attacks are the rebels that the devil has refused to release from the bondage of their past and doomed even on earth before judgment in the hereafter.
“Boko Haram is an enemy of whom we shall hear no more even when persons freshly possessed of the destructive spirits operate under its name. The Lord shall make Nigeria triumph at every turn.
“The enemies of the President according to revelations received during the meeting are only fighting God and will meet their waterloo if they fail to turn away from their evil ways. The Lord shall keep President Buhari to fulfill his mission in Nigeria.
“God said he has used the first two years of Buhari to reset the nation and the remaining years ahead are years of harvest for those that would believe in the leader that God has given to them.
“In this vein, Nigerians are enjoined to shun murmuring and not engage in grumbling that is displeasing to God so that their case would not be like the Children of Israel, whose murmuring prevented from entering the promised land.”
In the meantime, the Patron of Anti-Corruption Crusader, Prof. Tayo Adeyemi, has urged APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to stop engaging in ‘mere political ruse’ following the latter’s recent call on Nigerians to stop unnecessary speculations about President Buhari’s health.
In a statement, Adeyemi said it would have been better for the APC chieftain to remain silent on the issue of Buhari’s health because he had failed to speak at the appropriate time and watched as the President was being portrayed in a bad light.
Adeyemi said the former Lagos State Governor’s comment was a failed attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of Nigerians as the relationship between him, Tinubu, and Buhari was deteriorating.
Adeyemi admonished Tinubu ‘to refrain from playing on the intelligence of the educated class of Nigerians’, stressing that the failure of Buhari’s administration was already visible to Nigerians. He said:
“Tinubu’s press statement has therefore, unfortunately, come too late as the political space has been contaminated by the undercurrents of anonymous sponsored articles in the media to portray Buhari in bad light by unidentifiable spin doctors and masters of propaganda normally used by political adventurers.
“Tinubu’s nonchalance to the Buhari administration’s strides and effort has been undisputedly apparent.
“Public analysts, political observers, the educated class, the electorate and Nigerians, in general, have read between the lines and realised this press statement to be none other than a mere political ruse.
“The press statement is, therefore, a faux pas and totally unnecessary. It is a sign of weakness or guilt complex.
“It would have been more appropriate if the APC National Chairman-John Odie Oyegun, the Minister for Information or the Senate President had issued this sort of statement. It is out of place and irrelevant for Tinubu to issue this in his personal capacity.”
