Not much about Janemena’s childhood has also been revealed, but it is said that she had her secondary education in her home state, after which she gained admission to Delta State University, where she studied and graduated with a degree in Mass Communication.

The two became a couple a few months after Plies proposed to her in the Maldives, where they went on a vacation in 2019. While it is not yet revealed if Jane had a church wedding ceremony with her spouse, it was said that they had their traditional wedding in the dancer’s hometown in Delta State.

Janemena and the Contrversial Sextape
In October 2021, Janemena was accused by actress Tonto Dikeh of having a sex tape with her boyfriend Prince Kpokpogri. Referring to her as an ‘adulterous twerker,’ Tonto mocked Janemena over sex tape comments credited to her former boyfriend. This resulted in a legal battle as the actress reportedly filed suit against the dancer.
While the sex tape scandal led to widespread criticism by the public, both Jane and Kpokpogri denied the accusations, and the famous twerker went on to sue the actress for defamation of character. She also demanded that Dikeh tendered an unreserved apology online and pay N500M for damages.
However, shortly after the lawsuit went viral online, a leaked voice note of Kpokpogri talking about how he slept with Janemena emerged. According to him, Janemena confessed that he was better in bed than her husband, Andre Plies.
