The JNLDF in a statement made by their top ranking officials, General Akotebe Darikoro, Commander, General Duties, General Torunanaowei Latei, Creeks Network Coordinator, General Agbakakuro Owei-Tauro, Pipelines Bleeding Expert and General Pulokiri Ebiladei, Intelligence Bureau of JNDLF claimed:
“The Military can’t locate Tompolo but we have identified where he is now.
“Presently, Tompolo is in Libya and we’ll get him dead or alive for betraying us in supporting the federal government against us.
“Nigerian Military has weak intelligence gathering mechanism hence they could not identify our modus oparandi. Nigerian military is only good in carrying AK47 to harass innocent people and raping young girls and women.”
A close source to Tompolo laughed when contacted, Monday, by Vanguard, saying, “I do not know what you want to say, they should leave Tompolo alone.”
The former Niger Delta leader, Tompolo, who has shunned two bench warrants inviting him for questioning by the EFCC has been elusive for months now.
Tompolo was on February 11 declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with a court order issued by Justice Ibrahim Buba, ordering security agencies to provide Tompolo by February 19th.
The former militant commander has somehow managed to evade arrests by security agents.
