Famous US music artiste, Kanye West visited President-elect Donald Trump at Trump tower in New York City on Tuesdays, December 13, days after rapper return from hospital.

CNN report says Trump spoke to reporters with West by his side, calling the rapper a “good man” and telling journalists that they have been “friends for a long time.” After the meeting, Kanye refused the discuss details of the meeting as he walked out of the tower and ignoring journalists hovering to get a piece of what the meeting was all about.

West later took to his Tweeter page to reveal the purpose of his visit to Trump and he said:

Recall that late last month Kanye West had directly declared his later support for the newly elected President of the United States of America when he said: “I would have voted for Trump.” The 39-year old has also publicly profess his intentions to run for president of the state come 2020 and with 26 million followers on Twitter, fans believes West stands a great chance.

After the meeting Trump was heard telling West in the lobby of Trump Tower, to “take care of yourself, I’ll see you soon.”

Besides these few statements from the controversial rapper, no other agenda for the visit was revealed. However, it was reported that sources with the knowledge of the meeting said Kanye West has been concerned about making areas like Chicago safe again, hence, he wants to keep the issue fresh on the President’s mind.

Many in the Hip-Hop community has expressed awe and bewilderment on West’s sudden support for the much hated new president Trump, including Snoop Doggy who earlier lamented “what the f**k is he [Kanye] upto?”

Well, Snoop, now you know, West is mingling in the elite cycle, with mentors in politics, in pursuit of his biggest ambition – to become President of US someday.
