Zlatan Ibrahimovic Offered A £59m Chinese Deal


Sweden International and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have attracted the interest of a Chinese club with a whooping salary package offer of £59 million.

The 34-year old striker, who is set to leave the French giants at the end of the season, has attracted interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United, Arsenal and West Ham all keeping tabs on him.

Football stature has continued to grow in China as Chinese Super League teams are spending big money on signing footballers such as Jiangsu Suning, and paying £38 million for Alex Teixeira.

Chinese government has continued in their attempts to sign big stars such as Ibrahimovic, after acquiring the likes of Jackson Martinez and Ramires.

With the French side, the striker currently earns a package of £200,000 a week after tax in France and would expect roughly £200,000 gross in England.

The PSG striker insists he is still fit enough to cope with the demands of playing in the Premier League, with United, Arsenal and Chelsea showing interest.

Ibrahimovic becomes a free agent in the summer and has suggested he is finally ready to move to the Premier League. His contract at Paris Saint-Germain is up at the end of the season, by which time he will have won the Ligue 1 title four times in four years. League titles are said to be his thing, as he has won 13 in his 18 seasons as a professional.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is widely viewed as one of the best strikers in the world and is popularly known for his arrogance off the pitch has scored 102 goals in 115 league games, for the French giants. He is also viewed as being one of the most temperamental footballers.

Ibrahimovic made a name for himself at Inter Milan and won himself numerous personal awards at the San Siro. Known for his strength, aerial ability and fiery personality, he has been compared to Dutch legend Marco van Basten for his playing style.
