Child Dies After Brutal Beating By His Father And Step-Mother In Bayelsa (Graphic Photos)

The story of a very brutal incident of extreme child abuse has emerged from Bayelsa State where a young boy died after he was allegedly beaten by his father and stepmother.

According to Facebook user, Wariebi Sapere-obi who shared the photos, the child was brought into CHEW (Children Emergency Ward) FMC Yenagoa dead. He shared pictures of the dead boy of the social platform with the caption:

“Worse case of Child Abuse I have ever seen. This child was brought into CHEW (children emergency) FMC yenagoa dead. What a father and his wife (victims step mum) could do to a child.”

The post drew a lot of attention from different people who were eager to take the matter to court and ensure that the killers were brought to book. A commentator, Eno Akpakpan, wrote:

“Dis is money o! He further blamed the people living on the area where the incident took place saying: “me go blame dos so-called educated leaving in dat neighbourhood. dey ve all failed in der civil responsibilities. nobody cn tel me dat dis victim was leaving in an isolated area wit d suspect. its quite unfortunate dat we live in a society wer ur child is not my child too”.

As a result of the demands by many people who wanted more details of the matter, Dr. Wariebi assured them of answers before tomorrow. “I am at work now and I was on call last night so please be patient. Thanks a lot for your concerns….”, he said.
