Spanish club side, Barcelona has produced football’s greatest comeback in history following their 6-1 victory over Paris St Germain in the UEFA Champions League.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has dedicated Barcelona comeback against Paris Saint-Germain to those who doubted they could do it.

Speaking after the match, coach Enrique said:

“I would like to emphasize those who didn’t have the faith when we lost 4-0 (in the first-leg).

“This is dedicated to them because we are not the Harlem Globe Trotters, this is football.

Barcelona defeated PSG despite staggering odds against the possibility of victory.

This follows after Arsenal had had a shameful defeat and exit from the UCL after losing 5-1 home and away to Bayern Munich.


An opener from Louis Suarez in the 3rd minute paved the path to closing-in the goal deficit gap for Barcelona.

It wasn’t until the 40th and 5oth minute before goals came in from Kurzawa and Messi, further shrinking the goal deficit.

Speaking after the game, midfielder Ivan Rakitic had this to say:

“No, I cannot believe it. It was really impossible. 15-20 minutes after the game, it is crazy and unbelievable.

“The first game in Paris was hard for us, a lot of people spoke hard with our team but the reaction was special.

“It is history. We want to keep going on.

“We had to believe. 4-0 was hard, but it is football. We saw it in the Super Bowl, what is possible in sport.

“Today was crazy. This is Barcelona, the best team in the world and we want to continue our dream in the Champions League.”
