Popular Singer Kiss Daniel Involved In An Auto Crash

Talented Nigeria singer Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel, fondly called Kiss Daniel by fans, was involved in an auto crash on Monday night along side his producer DJ Coublon.

The 21-year-old singer made this known on his Instagram page right after the incident happened.

According to Kiss, he was driving and at same time, operating his phone when he crashed into a canal at the Lekki area of Lagos state but he was fortunate to be rescued by friends who rushed over to help him out.

On his Instagram page @iamkissdaniel, he wrote:

“Don’t press your phone while driving; it is never a good idea. Crashed into a canal last night at Lekki. All thanks to these guys and some loyal fans that helped I and my producer out of the car. I wanna say a very big thank u to @djcoublon for screaming like a Yankee baby  before the crash.. Bro u nailed it. We thank God, we still alive“

This is a clear indication of the adage: “Experience is the best teacher”. The singer ended by advising people not to operate their mobile phones while driving. He did not need anyone to tell him that anymore. I’m sure that next time, he will think twice before he does it.

The young artiste who began his musical career in 2013 has since released six singles (Kiss Daniel, Shoye, Woju, Woju remix, Laye and Good Times) and has bagged eight awards. He was also recently nominated for the Next Rated Act award category of the Headies, but he lost to Mavin’s Reekado Banks who is putting up as much competition and making proper use of his affiliation to Mavin’s Crew boss Don Jazzy.

Expressing his disappointment after losing to Banks, he said

“To be honest, it was quite heartbreaking to find out that I did not get the particular recognition I so much craved, but I am excited that it only means I need to work harder, and that 2016 will be a bigger year for me.”

Barely 72 hours after he wrote that, he announced plans to do a major collaboration with Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, confirming his pledge to work harder to bag the lost award in 2016.
