If this is true, OJB’s life has been cut short one month before his 50th birthday. Recall that in 2013, the producer and singer had a kidney related disease that required a surgery. A few kind-hearted Nigerians and fans of his extended some goodwill in sponsoring his trip to India and cost for a kidney transplant.
OJB went through a successful surgery at an Indian hospital, accompanied by his wife Mabel Okungbowa, who donated her kidney to him. He returned back to Nigeria a few months after, healthy and kicking. However, a family source claims that his kidney transplant failed completely last week, one year after the producer denied a report which said he was experiencing a setback in recovery from his kidney transplant.

This is certainly bad news for the Nigerian entertainment industry and the country as a whole.
