She wrote:

“RIP Mum. Saying I am going to miss you is an understatement, I can’t still believe you are gone , I sit here wondering if I’m in a dream and waiting for someone to pinch me . You thought me how to be strong, giving, loyal, compassionate and driven.”

“You told me that there is nothing impossible to do. You made me the woman I am today. I am most grateful to you. I will miss you greatly . I know you are watching over me and you will always live on. Love you mum.”

Chika Ike is a Refugee Ambassador for Displaced persons for the United Nations and also a brand Ambassador of Bullet Energy Drink. She is the founder of the Chika Ike (Help A Child) Foundation. Prior to her acting career, Chika was a model and that passion was reignited in 2004 when she launched a TV show for models titled African Diva Reality Show, where she doubles as the host and executive producer.

Chika’s Mum

In 2012, Chika surprised her mum with a brand new 2012 Kia Sportage SUV as a Mother’s Day gift to the woman after her heart. The 30-year old mother of one has had her ups and downs; she was once married to one Tony Eberiri in 2006, however, the marriage was dissolved in 2013, following series of alleged domestic violence. Chika Ike’s mum was said to have catered for the child that resulted from that union and has been of great assistance to Chika, while she worked hard to build her acting career. Unfortunately, the mum, who Chika looks so much like, is gone to the world beyond.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace, as God grants Chika the fortitude to bear this great loss.
