Lil Kesh Talks About YBNL, His Responsibilities as CEO of YAGI


Former YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh, talks about his album, new record label and relationship between YBNL and Y.A.G.I among other things.

The rapper also talked about the responsibilities on his shoulders as the CEO of Y.A.G.I – a new label he found few months ago.

In the interview with Pulse Nigeria, Lil Kesh gave credits to Olamide for bringing him and some other artistes up and teaching them the rudiments of taking decisions for themselves in relation to music. The rapper explained the arrangement between Y.A.G.I and YBNL and how he feels about dropping his debut album. He also revealed his plans to inspire and support other uprising artistes.

According to the rap artiste, although he now has his own label, him and Viktoh are still under the management of YNBL. He says it’s all about the music and feeding his fans with club banging music. He also mentioned that he is working on collaborations with other acts on their songs.

Lil Kesh is obviously not alone in this journey. His colleague, Adekunle Gold, who is also a YBNL artiste and an amazing graphic designer, assisted Lil Kesh in designing the logo for Y.A.G.I records.

YBNL didn’t have to miss Lil Kesh so much, because less than a month after he claimed to have left the label, Olamide found a female artiste he signed up. Under YBNL, the first lady ever in the label, Temmie Ovwasa, otherwise known as YBNL Princess, released a debut single few days after her unveiling.

Her single is doing fairly good in the industry and her voice has earned her a status in the heart of Kiss Daniel, who named her his celebrity crush.
