Thai businessman and Leicester City owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, is set to reward 19-man Foxes squad, each with BMW i8s worth £100,000 for their historic Barclays Premier League triumph last season.
The pictures of the cars were posted on club’s facebook, fan page saying:
“19 brand new BMW i8’s have been shipped to The King Power Stadium this morning. These are the gifts promised to the players following last season’s triumphs. Unbelievable scenes!”
The club also showed off the cars on its Twitter handle with the caption: “19 BMW i8 ready for the players following last season’s triumph. What a chairman.”

With a list price of £104,540, this line-up of BMW i8s will have cost Leicester boss nearly £2,000,000 if they were bought outright.
Mr Srivaddhanaprabha is worth an estimated £2 billion and is the fourth richest man in Thailand, bought 19 cars despite the fact that Clauido used 23 players in his title-winning squad.
It is thought that Joe Dodoo, Andrej Kramaric, Yohan Benalouane and N’Golo Kante are the four players to miss out on the BMW i8’s.
Key midfielder N’Golo Kante recently moved to Premier league rivals Chelsea while the other three only made a handful of substitute appearances between them.
Football critics have described the move by the Leicester City owner as one aimed at keeping his best legs in the team, following reports linking star man Riyad Mahrez with a move to Arsenal.
The all-electric B-Class offers up 124 miles of range and can be recharged in as little as three hours. We suspect the club’s owners will also need to invest in a few charging points at the King Power Stadium, as the arrival of 30 electric Mercs could result in some argy-bargy in the box, Barry.
