Controversial Nigerian dance hall artiste, Cynthia Morgan has finally cleared the air about several misconceptions concerning her music career.
In a recent interview with Zinnia, of HF TV’s “Da Chat”, Miss Morgan talked about her upcoming album, which is set to be released by August 2016.
She also commented on her connection with the Okoye brothers, particularly concerning the mystery about her music deal with Jude Okoye’s record label.
According to Cynthia Morgan, she was shocked to hear the rumours flying around that she was pregnant for Jude Okoye, denying that there was nothing of any kind to have triggered such an indicting story. She said:
“How can I be pregnant for Jude? Oh! my God! I woke up and saw it on the internet, and I was shocked.”
Morgan also responded to the controversy about her music career and about which of the Okoye brothers found her first. There were unconfirmed reports that Peter Okoye of P-Square offered the singer a contract to sign with his record label, but she opted to join Jude Okoye, who was reported to have poached her from him.
The Benin-born artiste is known for her wild nature; nose ring, lots of jewelries, tattoos and of course the infamous red hair, which she claimed to be the one who started the red-hair craze in Nigeria.
Still speaking on the Psquare matter, Miss Morgan says she has deep respect for Peter as an artiste and that the P-Square group is her mentor.
“I respect them a lot, but I am gonna let sleeping dogs lie, and I am gonna say shout out to my boss, cos he is my boss at the end of the day.”
Cynthia Morgan was discovered by Jude Okoye, former manager of the twin group and according to the dance hall artiste, she is working with him till date.
