Boko Haram’s New Leader Aim Attacks On Christians, Accuses Shekau


War against terrorists seems to be a never ending quest as Boko Haram’s new leader, Abu Musa al-Barnawi has declare war on Christians, churches and accused previous leader, Abubakar Shekau of going against their believes by killing Muslims and destroying Mosques.

Al-Barnawi who is Boko Haram’s spokes person was recently appointed by their proclaimed superior, ISIS, to take over leadership of the Nigerian originated terrorist group on Wednesday, August 3 and to replace their long-time leader, Shekau.

In an audio message translated by Intelligent Group, Al-Barnawi vowed to refocus the group towards eliminating infidels; killing Christians and bombing churches. He blamed the Westerners for bringing Christianity into Africa.

An excerpt from the audio said:

“They strongly seek to Christianize the society. … They exploit the condition of those who are displaced under the raging war, providing them with food and shelter and then Christianizing their children.”

He claimed the group is recruiting more terrorists and building a stronger organisation to focus its attacks on what he titled as Muslims war against “apostates and crusaders”.

The Boko Haram’s new leader further threatened that under his leadership, Boko Haram repel the West by “booby-trapping and blowing up every church that we are able to reach, and killing all of those [Christians] who we find from the citizens of the cross.”

Even though the group have lot almost all its territories in the northeastern part of Nigeria, Al-Barnawi claimed they’re not a group to be reckoned with; obviously speaking in confidence as per their allegiance to the notorious Islamic States of Iraq and Syria, ISIS.
