Chelsea is not one of those actresses who have passion for acting from childhood and eventually made their way into the industry. Instead, she turned into a successful actress today through sheer chance, hard work, and perseverance. Growing up, Chelsea learned that she is an introvert but decided to change because she perceived that might hinder her from being exactly the kind of a successful woman she desired to be. Hence, she joined a debate club in her school at St.Louis, and from there, she started learning how to express herself and speak in public.

However, while this was going on, Chelsea did not still see herself becoming an actress. Rather, she wanted to be either a lawyer, doctor or an aeronautical engineer. This was happening until 2009 when one of her secondary school friends asked her to accompany her to a movie shoot directed by Emem Isong. She followed her, and the film director Emem Isong spotted her while the audition was going on her and she continued going for an audition.

A few months later, director Isong’s colleague, Vivian Ejike, related to his friend, Isong, that she needed a supporting actress with a certain physique in the movie she was working on. Chelsea would perfectly meet these criteria, so Isong quickly recommended her to Vivian. This was how she got her first role in the Nollywood movie industry, and the rest is history. Thus, it will suffice to say that Chelsea became an actress by luck. Yet, she has grown to become talented in her craft, perfectly interpreting any role given to her.
