The celebrity was born in and is from Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He grew up in and had his education in Lagos State, Nigeria. Timini is a younger brother to the popular Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande. He is from a family of four: three boys and a girl. He is the last child while Dakore is the first child, and the two of them are into acting.

Timini grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria where he had his early childhood education. For his primary education, he attended Greenspring Montessori, St Catherine’s, and The Afro School. He then went to Adebayo Mokuolu College, Lagos State, Nigeria.

In 2010, Timini started his acting career. Before that, he had already worked in an e-commerce company for two years and took acting as a hobby. In his opinion, he quit because he was not fulfilled with the job, and by acting, he has found self-satisfaction. Egbuson saw and took his sister Dakore as a role model and was influenced positively by her acting career.
He starred in M-net’s soap opera titled Tinsel. His career was taken to the next level when he starred in MTV’s series titled Shuga. He played the role of Tobi in Shuga and this shot him into the limelight. Timini went ahead to star in the 2015 blockbuster movie Fifty the Series, where he played the role of a young man who after he learned the truth about his identity, goes through an identity crisis.
