Consequences of Late School Fees Payment at BASUG

Although there are two semesters in a session, the university only allows payment of school fees annually, i.e. only once at every school level. Students in the university may not necessarily pay the tuition fees at the beginning of every session, but importantly, all new students must pay off their acceptance fee dues. Failure to do so attracts a penalty of losing the admission altogether.

As with many institutions, Bauchi State university provides an avenue for redemption essentially to those that were not able to pay on time. The late fee registrations, however, attract an extra #10,000 or more based on the school.

Even after the late registration period is given and students fail to remit their tuition, they are liable to stand the consequence. Such consequences may be, missing examinations, carrying over courses, or worse case, being denied their certificate till the debt is settled.
