Pastor Adeboye has been married to his wife, Foluke Adeboye, for over five decades. They are parents to four children; three sons and a daughter namely Oluwadilare Temidayo Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (nee Adebayo), Late Dare Adebayo, and Oluwagbemileke Adebayo.

Pastor Adeboye is a renowned Nigerian pastor and the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Aside from being active in the work of God, he is also a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He also grew his family in a Christian way and sees that they are grounded in ministerial work. Below are all that you need to know about Pastor Adeboye’s wife and children.

How Old is Pastor Adeboye’s Wife?

Pastor Adeboye’s wife, Foluke Adebayo is 75 years old. She was born on 13 July 1948 into the family of Prince Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu. She is the eldest of the six daughters of the royal family of Owa Obokun Oji in Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria.

The wife of the G.O had a good early education and also holds a diploma in education from the College of Education, University of Lagos.

Foluke Adebayo has been married to Pastor Adeboye for over five decades and still counting. The duo met in 1965 when she was still nineteen years old. According to her husband, their meeting was divine owing to the fact that he was involved with many ladies at the time, and making a choice then was daunting.

Foluke finally shot her shot and got chosen when she gifted him a new testament bible and some white handkerchiefs on his birthday. Her act justified the saying that a gift is the easiest way to a man’s heart, as Pastor Adeboye instantly got the revelation that they were for each other.

On that same day, he stopped his relationships with other ladies and stuck to her. He stated that his only challenge as of then was his father-in-law. Following that, he was a minister at the Methodist church. He mapped out strict rules that they were to adhere to. To date, Pastor Adeboye is still grateful to his father-in-law for abiding by the scriptures then.

In 1967, after a few years of courtship, the duo exchanged their nuptial vows, though Pastor Adeboye wasn’t financially stable then. She chose him despite the fact that he was the poorest of her suitors. Today, they are listed as the richest ministers of the gospel in Nigeria and abroad. They joined the RCCG as a couple in 1974, and within a few years, Enoch Adeboye became the pastor of the church.

In 1981, Adeboye became the General Overseer and, to date, he is still in the position. The church experienced significant growth under the couple’s leadership. Being a Christian home, he and his wife never recorded any scandals. Today, they boast of raising Godly children who are also active in ministerial work. Over the years, Foluke Adeboye has proven to be a pillar of support for her husband’s ministerial work.
