It was determined that Bola Tinubu, who was running as the candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged victorious in the presidential election that took place on February 25, 2022. Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announced the results in the early hours of Wednesday 29 February 2023.
