Growing up, Chelsy was raised by her mother, Krista Newman, and saw less of her father, Scott Bakula, after they (her parents) divorced in 1995. Scott’s daughter, Chelsy, made a cameo in one of the episodes of Quantum Leap: Memphis Melody on April 20, 1993, which, however, is her only recorded screen acting credit as of this writing. Furthermore, she has several roles in theatrical cinema.

The rising star has a couple of plays on Broadway and even once played alongside her half-brother, Owen, in a May 2017 Mother’s Day edition of Broadway. Wil Bakula is an Aspiring Music Artist

Scott’s second son is a musician working with a Portland-based duo called Foamboy, along with a vocalist named Katy Ohsiek. The group was formed in 2020 but released its first album in 2021, titled My Sober Daydream.

However, Wil and co-star Ohsiek spent several years working together before producing the album in an experimental singing group called Chromatic Colors. The group released two albums and played at several events, bars, festivals, and even basements.

Owen is notable for their scintillating singing act entitled An Evening of Classic Broadway, held at the Rockwell Table & Stage on December 23, 2019, in Los Angeles, California.
