Albert Pujols Jr. is the first son and second child of the former professional baseball player. He is the first biological child Albert had with his ex-wife Deidre Pujols. Albert Jr. was born a year into his parents’ marriage. We gathered he was born on the 10th of January 2001; so he is 23 years old at the moment.

Now an adult, Albert is in college where he plays golf. He studies Business Administration at Vanguard University, a private Christian university in Costa Mesa, California. Before this, he was a student at Pacifica Christian High, a college-preparatory, Christian, liberal arts high school located in Santa Monica. Much is not known about his relationship with his father but nothing suggests they are not on good terms.

Who Is Albert Pujols’ Daughter with Down Syndrome?

Albert Pujols’ first daughter and oldest child Isabella Pujols was born with down syndrome. This condition didn’t deter the former baseball player from adopting Isabella after he got married to her mother in 2000. Isabella’s condition inspired Albert to create the Pujols Family Foundation in 2005. The foundation which he runs with his ex-wife is a nonprofit outfit committed to assisting people living with down syndrome in the Dominican Republic, the United States, and the world at large.

Albert is super proud of Isabella and often celebrates her publicly, especially on World Down Syndrome Day. In one such instance, he took to Facebook to celebrate Isabella. According to him, Isabella is smart, spontaneous, loves to laugh, and sees people for who they are.
