The much anticipated Zahra Buhari wedding pictures have finally emerged. The Nigerian First Lady, Aisha Buhari has shared some of the beautiful wedding pictures of  the wedding between her daughter and her new rich son-in-law on Facebook, few hours ago.

Recall that Zahra’s wedding with billionaire’s son, Ahmed Indimi, was fixed for today December 16, 2016, and the ceremony, as President Buhari insisted, should be low key – just family and closest friends.

Prior to the wedding preparation, the new bride received pre-wedding gift worth millions from her groom’s family in accordance to northern tradition.

Mrs. Aisha’s post received more than a thousand likes and Nigerians congratulated the latest Nigerian first couple.

And here comes the gorgeous bride and groom looking very much the happiest and newest couple in town.

Meanwhile, the report reaching BuzzNigeria said President Buhari had strictly refused to allow government sponsor some aspects of his daughter’s wedding.

This was revealed by the presidential spokesman Mallam Shehu Garba, who also said the president is trying to keep the event as simple as possible.

In his statement on Tweeter, Garba noted the ceremony which has started today Dec. 16 2016, will conclude tomorrow Dec 17, with Zahra heading to her husband’s home. In further statements from the spokesman, it was revealed that President Buhari had asked to be given the bill for the food at the banquet. Government, he said, has no business paying for that.
