Currently, the course is not lucrative in Nigeria, mainly because there are only a few zoos nationwide. Outside Nigeria, a degree in Zoology should earn you a job as an Ecologist, Zookeeper, Nature, Conservation Specialist, Marine Scientist, and Field Researcher.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>9. Animal Husbandry<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Course Duration: <\/strong>4 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Animal husbandry is supposed to be one of the most lucrative fields of study. But unfortunately, it isn&#8217;t because the major work has already been taken over by Fulani Herdsmen in Nigeria. Also, many Nigerians are into farming, so getting into Fish, Egg, and meat production is relatively easy. The need for graduates in this field is minimal, as anyone can do the job in Nigeria. Social Studies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Course Duration: <\/strong>4 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Social studies is another course we can classify under the useless courses to study in Nigeria. A degree in Social studies can teach you foundational knowledge and qualify you for various jobs in many industries. Unfortunately, this course has no place in the Nigerian economy. Almost all Social Studies graduates end up being high school teachers simply because they have low or no employment opportunities. Library and Information Science is an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary field that applies the practices, perspectives, and tools of management, information technology, education, and other areas to libraries; the collection, organization, preservation, and dissemination of information resources; and the political economy of information. Generally, with a degree in history, you&#8217;ll have a strong understanding of the background of the issues you&#8217;re covering, which allows you to conduct high-quality investigations.<\/p>\n<p>As a history graduate, you should earn jobs as a museum archivist, history professor, researcher, professional researcher, and market analyst. Despite the lucrativeness of Agriculture in the country, being a horticulture graduate may land you in a continuous job search with no result. The economies of the industrialized countries worldwide, where decorative plants are particularly valued, cannot be compared to Nigeria&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>You may want to start your flower shop, but this business idea may not thrive because Nigerians don&#8217;t really care about flowers that much. However, if you are able to travel outside the shores of Nigeria, you may earn well-paying jobs as a horticultural technician, Plant Care Worker, Nursery Staffer, Landscape Designer, Pest Manager, or horticultural Inspector.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>15. Archaeology is the study of history by collecting and examining ancient artifacts. For several decades, archaeological education in\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nigeria<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0has been confined to university education curricula with little or no attention paid to its practical aspect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In better-developed countries, you can work as an environmental archaeologist, Archeological researcher, historical archaeologist, or museum director. Physical and Health Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Course Duration: <\/strong>4 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Physical and Health Education (PHE) is one of those courses that is rarely recognised in Nigerian society. Although graduates of PHE may get a job as a class teacher or fitness instructor, not all schools offer the subject, and a handful of gyms can afford to pay well for the job.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>17. In better-developed countries, your degree certificate in Home Economics could get you a job in interior planning, design and decorating or as a consumer behaviour and promotion of products manager.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>19. But with the growing technologies, secretarial positions are no longer limited to graduates of Secretarial studies. They now compete with other graduates in other fields who have computer knowledge.<\/p>\n<h2><b>20.
