Reports have it that he was born into a strong Christian home and that his parents are pastors. However, their names are not known to the public. Josh spent the early years of his life in Anambra where he also started out his primary education.<\/p>\n<p>By the time he was 7, he moved to Lagos and subsequently completed his primary and secondary education there. He studied Computer Science at the Federal Science and Technology College, Yaba, Lagos. Josh has been a natural at making people laugh; he started to manifest this talent from a young age.<\/p>\n<p>Some sources say that at some point he left his initial course of study to fully pursue a career in comedy. This move reportedly saw him study acting at the School of Performing Arts, Qban Centre, also in Lagos.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Josh2Funny Started His Career in 2011<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The distinctive comedian started out by performing at churches and small events where he made people laugh by just being himself. In 2011 he participated in Project Raw Talent Hunt Competition and won the grand prize. Following his win, he decided to go professional with his talent.<\/p>\n<p>He started doing stand-up comedy but to a smaller audience. By 2015 he was already making funny videos of himself in different characters. Josh2Funny had ventured into this because he did not have the required audience he needed for a stand-up. During this time, social media was still gaining momentum in Nigeria and not so many people could earn from it.<\/p>\n<p>But Josh not only found fun in it, but he also found his passion in making skits as well as coming up with different social media trends. He created his first popular skit in 2016. The challenge normally features a group of persons doing wordplay or having pun-intended conversations with one person behind the camera usually called the &#8216;hype man&#8217; supposedly yearning for more by screaming don\u2019t leave me! or \u201ctake me with you!<\/p>\n<p>It even gets more interesting when the person speaking tries to run away and the &#8216;hype men&#8217; chase after him screaming &#8216;don&#8217;t leave me&#8217;.
