Her father was born in 1946 and was a lecturer at the College of Education in Ikere, Ekiti State. He died at the age of 69 after a brief illness on 19 February 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Her mother, Yinka Filani, known as Iya Pupa, was born on 4 April 1950 in Ado-Ekiti but has lived most of her life in Ife, Ibadan.<\/p>\n<p>Although little is known of her siblings, her then-25 year old younger brother who goes by the name Olatunbosun Oluwatosin Filani was allegedly murdered in 2010 by some Policemen in Eleweran\/Obantoko Abeokuta, Ogun State.<\/p>\n<p>This singular act was one of the driving forces that prompted Mosun to actively participate in the\u00a0 2020 #EndSars protest. The protest was a stand by the people of Nigeria against police brutality.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Career Highlight of Mosun Filani<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Acting has always been a hobby and a much-loved interest to Mosun Filani. As far back as her secondary school days, she joined various drama and dance groups before taking it as a career.<\/p>\n<p>Her first step into the acting world came while a movie<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kemifilani.ng\/news\/mosun-filani-tells-her-love-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> was being shot at her home<\/a>. He is a politician, businessman, and legal practitioner who was born on 6 October 1970. Kayode hails from Osun State in the South-West region of Nigeria, but grew up in Lagos State where he still lives to date.<\/p>\n<p>His academic journey took himto the Government College, Ibadan, for his secondary education. He finished from there in 1988 after which he moved on to study Law (LLB) at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, from where he graduated in 1996. By 1998, he had obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Buckingham, England.<\/p>\n<p>The legal practitioner is a\u00a0 member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and candidate for House of Representatives from Ifelodun, Boripe, Odootin Federal Constituency Seat of Osun State at the 2023 general elections. In 2018, Kayode Oduoye contested for the Osun State governorship seat and lost.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Kayode Oduoye&#8217;s political background dates as far back as the 2015 general elections when he contested for the seat of the House of Representatives for the first time under the umbrella of the PDP to represent his constituency. He has been an instrumental advocate towards Youths movement in politics.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Mosun Filani is Allegedly Her Husband&#8217;s Third Wife<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Kayode Oduoye got married to Mosun Filani on February 19, 2012, and the couple has 2 children together, a girl (older) and a boy. He was, however, said to have been married twice before marrying the actress. With his ex-wife, Yemisi, he supposedly has two children who live outside Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>It has been alleged that Mosun Filani had broken his previous marriage.
