She hails from Ukpata, Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State. She grew up in the state and had her early childhood education, secondary school education, and university education there.<\/p>\n<p>As a child, she was always been interested in acting. However, Nkoli, as she is fondly called, switched to dancing to make ends meet. She got involved in the music industry in 2005 due to the lack of movie roles and\u00a0made appearances in some music videos in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Dancing, just like acting, is one of her passions and she enjoys doing it. Her dancing and acting careers all started while she was a child and she has leveraged these two to become who she is today.<\/p>\n<p>The actress lost her father when she was 13 years old. She and her two siblings were raised by their mother who later died in 2020. She is the eldest of the three. Rachael&#8217;s other siblings &#8211; Olaedo and Peter- are also doing well for themselves. Olaedo is a rapper who raps in the Igbo language.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned before now, Okonkwo attended her primary, secondary, and university education in Nsukka.
