The Bauchi state postal code is segmented into districts, towns, and communities that make up the 20 local governments in the state. In some cases, some of the communities in a district have special postal codes, while other districts make use of a single postal code.<\/p>\n

Located in the North East Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, Bauchi state is one of the country’s top agricultural states. The state, nicknamed the Home of Peace and Hospitality, was created on February 6, 1976, and is known for producing major cash crops like cotton, coffee, and peanuts (groundnuts); and for raising cattle, goats, and sheep.<\/p>\n

With a population of over six thousand people, Bauchi state is also famous as the fifth largest in the area and seventh most populous state in Nigeria, with its major cities and towns including Alkaleri, Azare, Bauchi, Dass, Jamaare, Misau, Ningi, and Tafawa-Belawa.

Bauchi State Postal Code is 740001 – 752107. Code number 740001 is the code for the NIPOTS Headquarters, while each of the local governments in the state has a unique code assigned to it.<\/p>\n

These codes, which comprise of series of letters, digits, or a combination of the two, are assigned by the Nigerian Postal Service for the purpose of sorting mail.<\/p>\n
