The question of her ethnicity was never in doubt as it is general knowledge that she is of the Igbo tribe. Before she came out to fully disclose her heritage, many were unsure which of the eastern states she hails from.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some speculated that she is of Abia origin, while others claim she was from Mbano in Imo State. The speculations about her originating from Mbano were fuelled by her character role in the 2014 comedy <em>Ada Mbano.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even though it was a false claim, Queen Nwokoye being from Mbano spread like wildfire and contributed to why the Darling of Nollywood did finally come out to clear the air. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When <a href=\"https:\/\/guardian.ng\/saturday-magazine\/in-session-with-the-talented-queen-nwokoye-ada-mbano-of-nollywood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she finally spoke of her heritage<\/a>, she made it known that she is a native of Ihembosi in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Queen was born on August 11, 1982, to Mr. and Mrs. Nwokoye &#8211; devoted members of the Catholic Church. The actress was born into a family of seven &#8211;\u00a0 three boys and four girls. Although it is not clear what number she is of the seven children, we know that <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">she is the first of their four female children. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her mother is a retired teacher, and her maternal grandmother was also in the same field of work as her mom.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>She Has a Degree in Sociology and Anthropology<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having been raised in Enugu State, Queen Nwokoye completed most of her schooling years in the Coal City.
