It&#8217;s also remarkable for exposing upcoming\u00a0talented artists\u00a0and their materials by enabling them to upload their songs to the public through an online platform dubbed <strong>&#8216;mynotjustok&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong>which was launched on August 25, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The music website was voted no. 1 for promoting Nigerian music back in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Even some upcoming African\u00a0musicians like Neza from Congo have been discovered and signed through NotJustOk.<\/p>\n<p>Neza described Nigeria as the melting point of music adding that there&#8217;s no better home or platform for music branding and promotion than in the country.<\/p>\n<p>NotJustOk conducts interviews with promising artists\/producers\/directors in its Hype section, sells digital albums that are usually released the same time they are released physically. The platform has contributed immensely to the sales of prominent music albums, including <em>Superstar<\/em> by Wizkid, <em>The W Experience<\/em> by Banky W, <em>C.E.O<\/em> by Da Grin, and <em>M.I.2<\/em> by M.I, and many others.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Subscribe and Upload your Songs to NotJustOk.com<\/h2>\n<p>Now, for aspiring artists to promote their songs or audio track, the site requires the individual to first set up their profile with a username, after which they can proceed. But first, follow the steps below to sign in to the music site.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-47680 img-100 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/buzznigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/NotJustOk-e1496065780367.jpg\" alt=\"NotJustOk\" width=\"802\" height=\"452\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>To Create a Profile on<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the website and click on the\u00a0menu button in the top right corner and a drop down will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Click on mynotjuskok.com and click on sign up<\/li>\n<li>You have an option of to create an account using your already existing Facebook or Twitter account. Alternatively, you can use your mobile number or better still sign up with your regular email address and chosen password like you do on most other sites and click &#8220;sign me up&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Upload your image (either your picture or any image you want to be identified with) by clicking on the &#8216;Upload Image&#8217; button and selecting your picture.<\/li>\n<li>Update your user\/profile link name to enable people to find you easily on the\u00a0MyNotjustok.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>It&#8217;s important to note that the username will determine the URL of your profile, therefore needs to be manually changed by you.<\/li>\n<li>Next is to type in your first and last name. You are expected to put something in\u00a0at least the First Name field to enable people to find you in the search area.<\/li>\n<li>Another tab will lead you to select the city and country of residence.<\/li>\n<li>Give more information about yourself on the &#8216;description&#8217; tab that follows.<\/li>\n<li>Also, include your social media sites to your profile by clicking the\u00a0Drop Down &#8211; selecting what social media link you want to add by selecting the Add Link button.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, you click on the SAVE button to save all your data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>To Upload Songs<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the UPLOAD button at the top of the MyNotjustOk site and the Upload Page appears<\/li>\n<li>The user can either click on the &#8216;Choose file to Upload&#8217; button or drag songs to the &#8216;Drag a Song here to Upload&#8217; \u00a0portion of the screenshot as can be seen from the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.notjustok.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>After dragging or uploading the mp3, mp4, WMA, WAV or Ogg audio file it automatically starts to upload and convert the file.<\/li>\n<li>At this point click on the More Options and several fields will appear.<\/li>\n<li>The user is advised to first\u00a0upload the single art.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the Song information which is the Artist Name and Title and add\u00a0your description in the space provided.<\/li>\n<li>Next tab will be to enter the tags for the song you wish to upload.
