Meanwhile, a video of Canadian rapper Drake performing what sounded like his collaboration with Wizkid “Come Closer” hit the internet a while back.

However, some quarters believe he was not performing the Wizkid song but his collaboration with Popcaan titled “My Chargie“(The Popcaan version was a released some weeks after Wizkid’s “Come Closer”), while others came for the artist after Wizkid and Nicki Minaj’s collabo news hit the internet for refusing to come closer to the youngster despite their collabo.

Wizkid had featured Drake in a song titled “Come Closer”. Wizkid also co-wrote “One Dance” with Drake and Kyla. Both songs were recorded at the same time but Come Closer was released the following year and Drake was absent in both videos of the song.

When the first video of the song dropped, Wizkid made excuses for Drake saying he had a family emergency during One Dance video shoot and  Drake was on tour when Come Closer was being shot. ‘No bad blood, one love still”, he tweeted and quickly deleted afterward.

But when the second video of Come Closer was released and Drake was still absent in the video – this led to the speculation that the two artists had beef.
