Andre Omodayo Churchill is Presently 8 Years Old

Andre Omodayo Churchill was born in Houston, Texas, in the United States of America, on February 17, 2016. He is the son of Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill. This makes Andre a Nigerian, even though he was born in the United States.

Born under the Aquarius zodiac sign, Andre belongs to the Nigerian Yoruba tribe from his father’s side and the Ikwerre tribe in Southern Nigeria, where his famous mother hails from.

Although his whereabouts are kept away from the public for his safety, Andre Omodayo attends a prestigious school in Abuja, Nigeria, where he lives with his mother. In 2018, his mother revealed on an Instagram post that her then 2-year-old son had just made the transition from Preschool to pre-Nursery school.

According to the Nigerian education system, Andre is likely to be in Primary 1 presently. The names of his schools haven’t been mentioned because of a court order preventing Ms. Dikeh from posting specific information about her son online.

Andre Omodayo Churchill’s Parents Are Divorced

By now, you must have caught wind of the extremely tumultuous relationship that exists between Tonto and Churchill. The two met in 2014 at Escape Nightclub in Lagos at the birthday party of Churchill’s brother. They noticed that they were instantly attracted to each other, and before long, Churchill and Tonto became a couple.

According to online reports, Tonto Dikeh fell pregnant only six months after they began dating, and the two quickly married. They tied the knot in Tonto’s hometown in Rumukani, Rumuokwuta, in Rivers State. The traditional marriage ceremony occurred on August 29, 2015.

In February the following year, Tonto gave birth to their first and only child together. If anyone had thought that the child would strengthen the already shaky relationship between this couple, they couldn’t have been more wrong. Sadly, in 2017, barely two years after they walked the aisle, Tonto and Churchill finally got divorced.

The causes of the marriage’s demise ranged from sexual incompatibility and infidelity to financial-related issues. Immediately after the divorce, the ex-couple was embroiled in a bitter custody battle for their son Andre. Since then, there has been no love lost between Andre’s parents, as they have refused to see eye-to-eye, not even for the sake of their son.

Tonto Dikeh Currently Has Custody of Andre Omodayo Churchill

Churchill was put in his mother’s custody following his parent’s separation. The court case, which was concluded in March 2019, was highly publicized and ended in Tonto Dikeh being awarded full custody while Churchill was awarded conditional visitation.

This decision was made by a customary court in Abuja after Tonto Dikeh was dragged to court by her former husband. According to Tonto’s lawyer, Barrister Ukechukwu Uju-Azorji, the case was an extremely hectic and dramatic one. The lawyer further insinuated that Churchill had refused to be reasonable throughout the process.

According to Tonto’s attorneys, Churchill had filed an N200k case against Tonto, claiming that the actress had only been using her son as an excuse to drain him financially. Churchill further accused his former wife of denying him visitation rights. However, a little questioning revealed that he had failed to meet the conditions upon which the visitation rights were granted.

In the end, the court determined that Churchill wasn’t a fit father as he couldn’t pay child support fees, failed to pay school fees, and was also incapable of providing adequate childcare for his son. Ultimately, the rights for the child’s custody were awarded to Tonto alone. According to our findings, she lives in a 6-bedroom mansion in Abuja with her son.

Andre Omodayo Churchill has a Half-brother from His Father’s Side

Although Andre Omodayo is the only son of Tonto Dikeh, he isn’t Churchill’s only son. The former husband of Tonto remarried just two years after his divorce from the actress. He married Gambian-born Nollywood actress Rosaline Meurer in 2019, and the couple has a son already. His name is Omoniyi Churchill Junior. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on March 2, 2021.

Because of the bad blood between Tonto, her ex-husband, and Rosy Meurer, it’s unclear whether there is any brotherly relationship between Andre and Omoniyi. For now, Omoniyi is the only sibling Andre has, as it seems Tonto doesn’t seem to want any more kids now. However, she vowed to get married again whenever she found true love.

Andre Churchill is a Young Land Owner Already

In February 2022, while celebrating her son’s 6th birthday, Tonto Dikeh took to Instagram to brag about her son’s latest achievement—a property in Scotland. The mother-of-one revealed that she had bought a piece of land for her son with the name ‘Lord King Andre Dikeh.’

In her post, she further showered praises on Andre, calling him “a king and more” and saying she was proud of his growth. After declaring her unshakeable loyalty to her son, she explained that the property she acquired was only the tip of the iceberg of the extent to which she would go for him.

However, after backlash from her fans for splurging so much on a 6-year-old, Tonto redressed her initial statement. She clarified that she didn’t exactly buy land for Andre but only paid for a small piece on which a tree would be planted in his name.

What is Andre Churchill’s Net Worth?

Andre’s net worth has not been revealed, but with his latest acquisition of a piece of land in Scotland, the young kid may be on his way to becoming one of the richest celebrity kids in the country. Andre Omodayo Churchill also has a share in his mother’s wealth as her net worth is estimated at $1.5 million.

His father, Olakunle Churchill, is a businessman and philanthropist with a net worth estimated at $5 million. Aside from what he gets off his parents’ earnings, Andre makes part of his income from brand endorsement deals. King has an active Instagram account where he shares photos and important information with his close friends.

While his Instagram account remains private with over 7k followers, the young kid flaunts his endorsement deals using his mother’s social media handles. In 2021, Andre became a brand ambassador for Pamperglow. Though the worth of the deal was not revealed, we know it is enough to influence his net worth.

King Andre Dikeh Foundation

Tonto Dikeh’s son runs a foundation called King Andre Dikeh Foundation. The actress revealed this in a tweet she made in 2021. According to her, King Andre Dikeh Foundation aims at helping kids in Nigeria with basic things like food during the lockdown caused by the severe coronavirus pandemic.

Not much has been said or revealed about the foundation’s progress and achievements. Still, during one of the foundation’s outings, the actress noted that her son supplied free food to 2000 vulnerable Nigerian kids.
