Gimena&#8217;s father, Diego had to separate from her biological mother due to very rough living conditions and went in search of a better life which brought him to Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>After her father&#8217;s separation from her biological mother, Gimena lived with her mother at the early stage of her childhood. While in Mexico, her father started pursuing and developing his musical career. Eventually, the marriage between her parents ended and her mother remarried, however, there is still no information regarding her marriage as well.<\/p>\n<p>Diego Verdaguer&#8217;s foray into music in Mexico led him to the path of Amanda Miguel, Maria&#8217;s stepmother. Amanda Antonia Miguel Samso, born on the 1st of June, 1956, in Gaiman, the Chabut province of Argentina, is also a popular Latin American musician. When she was 12 years old, Maria who initially was living with her mother, moved to Mexico so she could be with her father, who at that time is already building his musical fame and also married as well.<\/p>\n<p>According to some reports, the relationship between young Maria and her stepmother was not an appealing one when she arrived. And due to this, her father was forced to consider schooling her abroad in Switzerland and the United States of America. She showed a passion for art which became evident when she was two years old.<\/p>\n<p>She would constantly do drawings on any platform she finds. While growing up, her childhood and teenage years love for art only grew and expanded into several artistic techniques ranging from painting to pottery.
