Her father, Albert Pujols, is a Dominican-American former baseball player, while her mother is an Irish-Mexican-American named Deidre Puljos. This makes Isabella of mixed ethnicity.

Isabella’s Parents were Married For 22 Years

Albert Pujols and Deidre were married for over two decades before their union crashed. The ex-couple met in 1999 at a Latin dance club in Kansas City. They immediately had an attraction for each other, dated for a while, and eventually got married on 1st January 2000. Isabella’s Parents seemingly lived happily until their marriage fell apart after 22 years.

They got divorced on 4th April 2022, with Albert being the one that filed for a divorce. Although none of them has granted any interview on their divorce, they both cited irreconcilable differences as the reason they went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Albert disclosed that his faith does not support divorce, but he had to go through with it. He then pleaded with the media to respect his privacy in that regard.

Isabella is Not Albert’s Biological Daughter

Albert’s ex-wife Deidre had Isabella from a previous relationship years before she met him. However, after they got married, Albert Pujols officially adopted Isabella and has since been treating and referring to her as his own child. Nothing is known about Isabella’s biological father, whose identity has remained undisclosed.

Isabella was born with Down syndrome, and her condition got her father, Albert, inspired to set up a foundation – The Pujols Family Foundation, in 2005. The nonprofit organization, which Albert jointly runs with his ex-wife, is dedicated to helping individuals who live with Down syndrome in the Dominican to improve the quality of their lives.

A lot of information about Isabella is scarce in the media. So, it is yet to be known what career path she is on but considering her age, Isabella must have been through with acquiring her first degree.

How Many Siblings Does Isabella Pujols Have?

The eldest of Pujols’s children, Isabella Pujols, has four siblings; two brothers and two sisters whose names are Sophia Pujols, Esther Grace Pujols, Ezra Pujols, and Albert Pujols Jr. Meet them below.
