Big Meech and Southwest T successfully started the careers of a few high-profile hip-hop artists, which included Fabolous, Young Jeezy, and Trina.
The duo was said to be moving hundreds of kilograms of drugs into Atlanta between 2003-2004, which was said to be their peak. In 2005, Big Meech and his brother southwest T were arrested and sentenced to 30 years in jail at USP Lompoc in California. In May 2020, southwest T was released due to the COVID pandemic.
