Justin Qualley Was Born 36 Years Ago in New York

Justin Qualley was born on 14 August 1986 to Andie MacDowell who was 27 years old at that time. Andie was then still living in New York and pursuing her career in modeling and acting. She however was also happy to become a mom and called it her greatest blessing.

Justin spent his formative years in Montana, out in the countryside on the family ranch. Along with his two younger sisters who were born a while later, Justin’s family spent time either on their ranch or on their home in Asheville, North Carolina not too far from where their mom Andie had grown up.

His upbringing at the ranch no doubt affected his outlook on life. The family of 5 lived on a 457-acre ranch, where they spent their time renovating the house, building a barn, and creating beautiful memories.

Although Justin’s mom and by extension his dad, were in the limelight and had made a name in the entertainment industry, they chose to bring up their kids away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz. Rather, Justin and his sisters were surrounded by nature and wildlife; their free-spirited nature and love for the outdoors had stayed with them up to now, as can be seen from some of their social media posts.

Justin Qualley’s parents Andie Macdowell and Paul Qualley met in New York on the set of an advertisement for the Gap brand. Andie at that time was just starting off her career while Paul Qualley, who was of Norwegian origin, had been trying his hand at modeling and had appeared in several ads and on runways.

The two love birds ultimately tied the knot in 1986, the same year Justin was born. The couple was married for 13 years, from 1986 to 1999, and within these years, they had three kids; Justin and his two sisters. Paul had retired from modeling within this time to work as a contractor and also run the family ranch in Montana.

His Parent’s Divorce Didn’t Impact His Upbringing Negatively

Andie Macdowell and Paul Qualley’s separation as a couple seemed to have been on mutual grounds. Although they had certain things in common, they also had quite a lot of differences, especially in their worldview. For example, Paul’s house had “no TV, no computers, no wi-fi, no microwaves…” Essentially, he lived off-the-grid, preferring life in nature, secluded from modern contraptions.

While this lifestyle is ideal for some, for Andie, it must have been monotonous and boring. She herself was free-spirited but in another way; she loved art and fashion and traveling and exploring different cultures and of course, she absolutely loved making movies.

Perhaps this difference in lifestyle was what led to the demise of Justin’s parent’s marriage. At the time of the divorce, Justin was 13 years old. However, his parent’s divorce probably didn’t come with a lot of drawbacks for young Justin as his parents lived just three miles away from each other. In an interview, Justin’s sister Margaret stated that his dad built a house behind her school and he would often walk and bring her lunch.

With this kind of co-parenting arrangement, Justin must have continued to experience love and care from both parents despite their separation. This can also be seen in the wholesome relationship the siblings share with their parents. The sisters are forever experiencing the exciting life of showbiz with their mom as well as gushing over their dad and brother on their social media handles.

Justin Qualley appears to have a cordial relationship with his parents. While he seems to toe his dad’s footsteps and choose to live a country life, he is equally supportive of his mom’s and sister’s careers in the entertainment industry. He was present when his mom was honored with The Women Making History Award in 2020.

Justine Qualley Is A Realtor

As mentioned earlier, Justin Qualley is a very private person. Unlike the womenfolk in the family, he has no dealing with the entertainment industry. He is more inclined to follow in his father’s footsteps. He reportedly works in real estate in Missoula, Montana, where his dad continues to maintain a ranch. Justin no doubt helps out on the ranch as well.

As to whom the 36 years old Justin Qualley is dating or has dated, your guess is as good as ours. The only information we have on Justin is the little bits and pieces we get from his mom’s or sister’s social media platforms and there isn’t much, to begin with.

Justin’s Instagram account is a private account as well. We can only speculate that Justin is still single or possibly dating (going by the picture on his Instagram profile). His mom or sisters are yet to mention his wedding which we believe they wouldn’t skip when the time comes.

From what we know so far, Justin loves nature and animals. His mom describes him as down-to-earth and humble, someone who is willing to help those in need even in his own discomfort. She also mentioned that he studied Rhetoric; giving us an idea of how persuasive and impressive he is with his oral skills. Justin is also known to take his big brother role very seriously as he supports his sisters and hangs out with them from time to time.

Justin Qualley Has Two Siblings From His Parents
