Felix Mallard is a 25-year-old Australian actor born on 20th April 1998. He started his acting career at the young age of 16 and has since then starred in a good number of projects. Although he is most popular for his appearances in several TV shows, Felix also has also appeared in a couple of movies. In addition to being an actor, he is also a model and musician.

Felix Mallard’s Acting Career Kicked Off in 2014

Growing up in Melbourne, Australia, Felix attended Christian Brothers College, now St Mary’s College. Initially, he loved sports and never wanted to make a career in the acting world. While in college, he took up fencing and won two bronze medals after competing at the state and national levels.

He continued taking part in combat sports until he was 13 when a modeling agency scouted him. Felix shortly signed with Vivien’s Models and was featured in several campaigns and an editorial spread in Yves Magazine. At the age of 16, his modeling agency secured an audition for him.

Although he never intended to make a career as an actor, Felix decided to give it a try and it turned out well. He made his debut television appearance in the 2014 Australian TV soap opera, Neighbors. Neighbors was one of the longest-running Australian television shows which has been airing since March 1984.

Mallard joined the cast of the series as Ben Kirks and had his first deal in a six-episode guest stint which was scheduled to last for three weeks. Meanwhile, as the plots kept unfolding, he got to know that he was a born actor anyway.

In the following year, Mallard returned to the series for a guest stint which lasted for four months. Recall that he was still in college, and by the time he graduated, he was all ready to fully pursue a career in acting.

The Australian Actor Got His Breakthrough With His Role in Several Sequels of Neighbors

In 2016, Neighbors made Felix Mallard a main cast member and by the end of the series in 2019, he had recorded a total of 851 episodes. With his musical talent, he was able to blend with his role in the show, he was mostly seen playing music on set.

His character as Ben Kirk was well recognized and received by the viewing audience, opening more doors for him to get more work. In one of the episodes of Neighbors titled Neighbors: Pipe Up, Felix was opportune to share the screen with notable actors like Mavournee Hazel, Tavis Burns, and Lilly Van Der Meer.

Felix made his next onscreen appearance in the same year (2016) in another sequel to Neighbors, Neighbors: Summer Stories, where he appeared in four episodes alongside Jackie Woodburne and Stefan Dennis.

Felix’s next role was also on another sequel to the Neighbors series titled Neighbors: Xanthe Hearts. In this sequel, he played the role of Ben Kennedy in 20 episodes. His last episode in the series was aired on 10th April 2018 although he would later make a few comebacks via video links which aired on the 31st of December 2018 and on 7th January 2019.

After The Neighbors Series Ended, Felix Mallard Continued to Bag More Roles in Other TV Shows

Following the end of Neighbors and all of its sequels, Felix Mallard did not slow down a bit but continued to bag roles in other projects. Between 2018 and 2019, he was a cast member of the TV series Happy Together where he depicted the character of Cooper James and appeared in a total of 13 episodes.

The series follows the story of Jake and Claire whose marital lives were sunk in common everyday routine. However, Cooper (depicted by Felix) came into the picture and dragged the couple into fame. In 2021, Felix starred as Aiden in the television series, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, an Austin Windsberg show. He appeared in four episodes of the series and shared the screen with actors like Alex Newell, Jane Levy, and Skylar Astin.

Between 2020 and 2021, Mallard appeared as Lucas Caravaggio in six episodes of the TV series, Locke $ Key. He acted alongside other stars like Emilia Jones, Connor Jessup, and Darby Stanchfield.

So far, the last TV production Felix Mallard has worked in is the Netflix dramedy Ginny & Georgia where he appeared in 20 episodes as Marcus Baker. He scored his first movie role in 2020 when he portrayed Roamer in All The Bright Places.

Moreover, he is slated to feature as Davis in the upcoming movie, Turtle All The Way Down. The movie which is currently said to be in its post-production stage is already listed as one of Mallard’s best projects so far.

Felix is also one of the actors in the short film, Money Is Just a Barbell where he played the role of a homeless guy.
