It’s a continuous upward movement for Nigeria’s afro-pop artiste, Wizkid. Following his one time collaboration with American R&B singer, Chris Brown, the duo will be performing together at Chris Brown’s One Hell of a Nite concert in Amsterdam.
Also performing alongside Chris Brown are top acts like French Montana and August Alsina.

The big news was first shared on Instagram by Mavin Records‘ Bizzle Osikoya, who posted a screenshot of the event banner with the caption “Wizkid would be performing at Chris Brown’s One Hell of a Nite concert in Amsterdam alongside top acts like French Montana, August Alsina, among others in June.”
Although this will not be the first time Wizkid is singing on stage with Chris Brown, we can’t wait to see their performance. In less than six years into the entertainment industry, Wizkid has achieved a hand full for his age. In early 2015, he performed with Chris Brown in South Africa and the American singer was seen dancing to Wizkid’s Nigerian beat.
For the first time, the duo also performed their unreleased song to the delight of their South African fans at the Moses Mabhida Stadium People’s Park in Durban. Currently, Wizkid is topping the global charts of Billboard, Spotify and iTunes with his feature on ‘One Dance,’ by Drake. Although he has had a few negative comments from fans in both Zimbabwe and Ghana, the starboy is making good impact with his music.
Chris Brown on the other hand, aside being known for good music, has been associated with several controversies on his addiction to marijuana. A few days ago, Chris Brown and his friends were ordered out of a private jet by the police for allegedly smoking marijuana.
Chris Brown is also known to have anger issues which had led him to beat up his ex-girlfriend and colleague Rihanna in the past. Wizkid is also said to have similar traits, as seen in his recent tours and even with the Linda Ikeji Issue. Although fans are even saying he is beginning to think and act like Chris Brown, we hope their working together will bring more good than harm to both singers.
