According to records, he was conceived in Ikorodu Lagos, where he is also an indigene. His parents moved to Ketu while they were pregnant with him and then moved back to Ikorodu shortly after his birth.
Seyi was raised by his parents in the bustling vicinity of Ikorodu, and there, he developed a keen interest in music. His father is a plumber, while his mother is a petty trader. Seyi has other siblings alongside whom he grew up, but there is no further information about them.
