The Ondo State-born actress had an interest in dramatic arts from childhood. Growing up in a Christian home, Segilola’s passion began as a result of several roles she played in her local church drama group back then. She took up stage plays and also participated in school dramas. Upon graduating from the university, she started going for movie auditions.

Meanwhile, she briefly worked as a development executive in a film sales and distribution company in London. There, she majorly focused on script writing and developing stories that are acted in theatrical films. She also served as an internship student for a movie company. One of her recent and most prominent appearances is in A Naija Christmas, released on 16th December 2021. This is a Nigerian Christmas film that tells the story of two guys who were obligated by their mother to bring home their potential wives for Christmas in order to inherit the family home.

Of course, they didn’t have any suitors at hand and so went on a quest to find their perfect woman. In the movie, she played the beautiful and sassy “Ajike” aka Ajiks baby, who is Ugo’s (Kunle Remi) love interest. In 2022, her performance as the star actor in A Naija Christmas earned her a nomination for the NET honor award in the category breakout actress of the year.

Segilola is also popular for the movies Fault Lines, Tainted Canvass on Amazon, wherein she acted in the character of Rayo, and The Men’s Club, a RED TV series where she acted in the role of Tonye. Segilola Ogidan is Married with Two Children

Segilola Ogidan is happily married to her husband Bola Ogidan. From the marriage, she is blessed with two boys. Mr. Bola Ogidan was a former Iroko TV partner’s general manager and is currently a cofounder of Pirano Energy. It is not public knowledge where and how the couple met, but they eventually tied the knot in a white wedding ceremony in 2012. So far, the marriage has lasted for 11 years and is peaceful.

Even though the actress does not bring information about her husband and children to the news, she always expresses on her social media pages the amount of love she has for her family. In her own words: “I can’t trade them for anything.”

Sometime in the past, actress Segilola divulged that being married affects some of the movie roles she accepts. She said that she does not do X-rated scenes but only keeps it PG/12 in regard to her husband and inlaws.
