Sandra Hails from Imo State, South East Nigeria

Though raised in the city of Lagos, Sandra originally hails from Mbaise, Imo state, in the Southeastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 56 years old as she was born on November 19, 1967. Not much is known about her parents and other members of her family except for her younger brother, Chima Umunnakwe, who, according to reports, is the personal assistant to the actor, Osita Iheme. He is also said to have welcomed a child whom he named Lucas.

Talking about her educational background, the former Nollywood star had her primary, secondary and tertiary education in Lagos state. She attended state college, Isolo, Lagos, after which she gained admission into the University of Lagos state where she obtained her first-degree certificate.

Marriages in Nollywood may be largely believed to have short lifespans, but the former actress has vowed not to follow the trend. Instead, she has severally stressed that she will stay with her husband for eternity. In posts she made on her Instagram, she added a photo of she and her husband and captioned it, “You are my one and only, love you to death boo.

Prior to her departure from Nollywood, Sandra was among the few actresses who did their best to keep themselves away from scandals. Through the course of her acting career, she ensured that her image and reputation remained untainted, which was a good one for her.
