Hundreds of fans poured onto the streets of the small town to watch star wedding guests arrive.

Eto’o drove himself to the church – the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, looking dapper in a grey three-piece suit with a houndstooth waistcoat and black shoes.

He arrived, rather surprisingly in a vintage Fiat 500L, for someone who used to drive a £1million Bugatti Veyron to training sessions while at Chelsea.
