Omowunmi Akinnifesi who was Nigeria’s most beautiful girl 2005 said that it is a blessing to be single.
The 30-year-old took to her social media page to post the comment which encourages all single women saying that spinsterhood is not just a blessing, but a time for the individual to get her bearings right before marriage.
Akinnifesi also advised single women not to take their solo status for granted, adding that the advantages eventually lead to marital bliss.

Omowunmi Akinnifesi was just eighteen-year-old when she was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. Born in Lagos, the daughter of a former Central Bank of Nigeria director spent her early years in Sierra Leone before returning to Nigeria with her family.
Akinnifesi graduated from the University of Lagos in 2008, with a degree in Geography and Regional Planning. Then she went ahead to obtain a master’s degree in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling, and Management from King’s College London in 2012.
For someone endowed with astounding beauty, all eyes are on Ms Akinnifesi and her friends and fans are expecting to hear the wedding bell soon. But the business woman seems to thrive in her career while waiting for the right moment as well as her prince charming to whisk her away.
Omowunmi Akinnifesi is currently the Nivea brand Ambassador for West Africa. In an interview, she granted to Sun News, the beauty queen expressed her desire to empower women using her business brand.
According to her,
“There are several other things I intend doing to empower women but among all these interests is my passions for making people look good. I love to make women dress elegantly. I want something that would make the women to be able to carry themselves nicely.
“The first thing they need to do to beef up their image is to enhance the way they look. So, I started with enhancing the physicality of women,” Akinnifesi said.
