Olajumoke the Compere! It’s about 9-months since the rise of the bread hawker turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna to stardom.
Back then, she needed an interpreter to translate her words, as she could only communicate in her local dialect, Yoruba.

Today, the story is different. Olajumoke has moved from a bread hawker turned model to a compere. I bet no one saw this coming, even though we knew about her going for an English Etiquette training some months ago.
TY Bello, who bought the young lady into fame by her excellent photography works, has indeed helped the mother of two achieve so much in so short a time.
While the whole paparazzi of her story hit the media, everyone wanted to identify with Olajumoke, including the Poise Academy where she was enrolled in.
According to the Academy, which helps “create class and brand people,” they had plans to transform the vocabulary of the 28-year old hustler, and that was just what they did.
At Poise, Olajumoke is undergoing training on English language proficiency, communication, etiquette, and social graces and has been working on her diction behind the scenes and the result so far is quite remarkable.

A recent video shared by the academy showed her progress and obvious improvement. From bread seller to model and now, a fluent user of English language.
Compere in the making
If you watched her interview on CNN back then, you will agree with me that Olamide has made serious progress and with time, she could pass for a professional compere.
Meanwhile, a similar story of a stylish windscreen washer, Abdulahi Olatoyan spotted in the streets of Abeokuta was in the media some months back. After that instant buzz, no one knows the whereabouts of Mr. Abdulahi Olatoyan.
