Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s husband, Oladunni Churchill, has finally broken silence over his ongoing marriage crisis with the screen diva. He decided to tell his side of the story in an interview with Media Hub Room, the same entertainment company that published Tonto Dikeh’s interview, where she broke down in tears and revealed some shocking details.
During the interview, Mr. Oladunni Churchill showed evidence of damages and also countered allegations made against him by his wife in the former interview she granted. He also confirmed that she pulled a gun at his bodyguard in Ghana, which led to her arrest and then presented the withdrawal letter, that got the June 9th drama at the airport closed.
He also disclaimed Tonto’s statements about helping him financially saying that he was already successful before he met her. the Big Church group boss also talked about how Tonto Dikeh sometimes goes through an uncontrollable “crisis” as her result of her “negative intake”.
When probed further on what he meant by negative intake, he mentioned alcohol abuse, marijuana, and other hard drugs.
According to Oladunni Churchill, during the incident which happened in Ghana when his wife allegedly destroyed properties worth millions of naira, she was under the influence of certain substances and he said that when that happens, “six men can’t hold Tonto down, talk less of me beating Tonto”.
He added that he had tried to get his wife to rehab but rather than agree to it, she chose to pack out of the house.
Insisting that he is not a woman beater, Churchill said that the pictures of the injuries which Tonto Dikeh claimed were inflicted on her by her husband were all made up.
He says the only scar he is aware of is one on her leg which he explained she sustained when she was destroying properties in his mum’s house. During the incident, Churchill said, her male best friend was crying and trying to hold her, in the midst of the commotion, Tonto hurt her leg.
Speaking further, Dr. Oladunni Churchill vehemently denied the claim by Tonto that he has his son, King Andre. He also disproved the allegation that he has not made any effort to reach his son since they left their house.
To prove this Mr. Oladunni played an audio recording of a conversation between himself and King’s nanny. During the call, he lamented about being denied access to King. This happened a day before King’s first birthday.
