NoMoreLoss: Family Reveals Cause Of Death, Announces New Burial Date


The family of late popular singer and songwriter, Olumuyiwa Osinuga (Nomoreloss) has finally revealed the cause of his death, said he died after a short battle with pneumonia.

The family also announced new burial details as follows: Service of Songs & Tribute will hold on Thursday 7th April 2016 at Koga Studios, 2 Bolaji close Off Kudirat Abiola Way, Alausa, Ikeja from 4pm – 9pm. Funeral holds on Friday 8th April 2016 at Four Square Church, Norman Williams Off Keffi Street, Ikoyi, Lagos by 10am.

Nomoreloss who passed away on the 21st of March 2016 aged 39 years, left  behind his beautiful daughter, Motunrayo Oshinuga.

Nomoreloss, was born  Olumuyiwa Osinuga in Lagos in the 70’s. He attended  a primary education in Victoria Island Lagos and attended A.D.R.A.O. International school for his secondary. He  launched his career as a rapper while in high school before switching to become a singer.

He began his journey to stardom in 2002 when he featured in Ruggedman’s classic cut “Ehen”. He also directed musical videos for various artists and was project coordinator and producer for the video CD for rapper Ruggedman’s “Thy Kingdom Come” album.

He was at different times a comedian, band leader, event planner, compere, director and talent manager. His debut album which was released in 2006  featured hit singles like Iyawo Asiko and Ololufe.

He got married in 2008 to Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Phoenix (Adeola Osinuga). They had a daughter together in 2011. Even though there were rumors that the marriage had crashed, the late singer denied the claim.

Nomoreless’ last major performance was at the August edition of Afropolitan Vibes where he was on the bill with singers Waje and Venus Bushfire. He will forever be remembered for the role he played as the coordinator of the ‘Save OJB campaign’ during OJB Jezreeel’s kidney ailment in 2013.
