Nigerian US Veteran Kidnapped & Murdered After He Came Home For Christmas  


The tragic story rocking the internet is the kidnap and murder of a Nigerian Army Veteran in the United States of America, who reportedly came back to his home town, last Christmas with his family.

According to the source who shared the tragic incident on Facebook, the deceased identified as Chuks Okebata, only came home to his new mansion to celebration Christmas but met his untimely death as kidnappers high-jacked and shot him dead in his home town Owerri, Imo State. The Facebook user, Lilian Ndiukwu, took to her page to express agony and pain towards the wicked murder of her brother and she captioned:

“What a wicked world…. who has done this to My BIG BRO? A USA veteran who just came back this Christmas after building his beautiful house (mansion)in the village not knowing that the enemies has an evil plan against him.

“They abducted and shot him dead yesterday night. I can’t believe this, can someone wake me up from this nightmare? Who did this to u Bro?

“I could remember the last time we spoke on phone that whn u come bk, we will visit the LESS PRIVILEGE and not knowing that this will be the last call we made. Can’t stop crying for you BRO CHUKS . An iroko has fallen. Those that killed you will never know peace and their generation will never go unpunished. GOD WILL AVENGE FOR YOU R.I. P (LA NA UDO).

Chuks was a former Ship Navigator at the Nassau (LHA-4) and a former Navigation Petty Officer at US Navy; studied Criminal Justice; lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a single father of two boys.

It’s indeed a heart wrenching lose of a promising, hardworking achiever who serve the public to defend lives, only to loose it in his own nation, by people he should feel safest. May his soul rest in peace and perpetrators of this wasteful evil act be brought to intense justice. IJN.
