10. Jidenna – The Let Out ft. Nana Kwabena

The beauty about Jidenna’s music is his ability to switch styles and still deliver a banger! This Nigerian music video starts with his regular introduction video skit soundtrack and then takes us straight to a dining setting where it’s clear from their dressing and mannerism that there were a number of Nigerians at the table.

The video is a smooth video with some comical angle to it; it is sure going to get a number of people up on their toes when the beat drops.

9. Kayswitch X Davido – Giddem

It’s been a while since we heard anything good from Kayswitch, but it seems we might see an end to that this year. Kayswitch drops the video of his track “Giddem” teaming up with Davido who automatically makes it a hit from the first line of his voice.

The beat is up tempo, the video is clean and the combination of the two artistes gives the track the needed energy to land the top 9 position on our Buzz top 10 Nigerian music videos February 2017.

8. Zoro – Bianca

If this track wasn’t called Bianca, it would have probably been called Ojukwu. Following the likes of Phyno, Zoro shows us how talented he is flowing effortlessly with his Igbo language. Last year, Zoro popped up as one of the few artists from the east to watch out for and he has proved with this track that he is not just a potential, but actually the real deal.

7. Del B ft. Mr Eazi – Boss Like This

With the trend of almost every major music producer heading into producing their own track, Del B will not be caught at the back of the train. Releasing the video of “Boss Like This”, Del B makes a very smart move by featuring Mr Eazi on the track.

Mr Eazi is already on fire, his voice has been accepted and loved by fans at large. The beat of Boss Like This is a serious club banger and the video has been well directed.

6. Maleek Berry – 4 Me

Maleek Berry is at it again and he doesn’t seem to be taking time off anytime soon! Mallek has steady delivered a fresh sound and vibe to his new jams. “4 Me” would be best enjoyed if listened loud with the right speakers; it tends to give a vibrating inner feeling right from the top!

5. Mr Eazi (Vibez Video) ft. Wizkid, Eddie Kadi & Maleek Berry – Leg Over

Just the sound of his name on any track “It’s your boy Eazi” does it! Mr Eazi was the man of 2016; not just taking over the Nigerian music scene, but also that of Ghana. The video for Leg Over was dropped early February and though it features other big names such as Wizkid, Eddie Kadi & Maleek Berry, you would hardly notice their contribution to the track as Mr Eazi makes it easy doing it all by himself.

4. P-Square – Away

At some point, we actually thought we had lost the talented duo twin brothers, but we are happy that is done and away! P-Square delivers another smashing hit with “Away”.

3. Yung6ix ft. Phyno, Percy – Money Is Relevant

What a video!!! Thumbs up to Yung6ix on this one; the money is truly relevant. Yung6ix is one of the most underestimated rappers in Nigeria, but that’s not stopping him from proving himself daily.

Unlimited L.A did an amazing job with this video, lovely visual effects and clean transitions.

2. Davido – If

Davido, Davido! Never a miss with this guy! All I can say is this young guy has been excelling in the game for a number of years now back to back and it still seems like he has lots more years ahead of him. “If” is just another jam to prove the above point.

1. Skales ft. Davido & Timaya – Ajaga

At number 1 is S to the K himself ‘Skales’ with “Ajaga”. Skales strategically teams up with the right act to make this song a serious musical bomb. The combination of Timaya and Davido is guaranteed to be a win anytime any day!
