Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho Rejects enticing China Money, Opts To Stay At United

Mourinho says he would not need to think twice before signing a new contract at Manchester United.

Although Mourinho did admit that the money in Chinese football is “attractive”.

The Portuguese manager took over from Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the summer.

He presently has the Red Devils sitting pretty in sixth place on the league table after a mixed start to the season.

Mourinho admitted in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports that the money in Chinese football is attractive.

The 53-year-old, however, believes that he is too young and loves working at United too much to consider leaving.

He stated strongly that he would sign a new contract at United “without his advisers”.

When asked if Manchester United have offered him a fresh contract, Mourinho hinted they didn’t.

Mourinho Rejects Enticing China Money, Will Stay At United

He said:

“They didn’t! And I’m not expecting them to dothat, because they gave me a three-year contract.

“They are being super supportive with me, and always gave me the feeling that three years is not the time I am going to stay here.

“I always had the feeling that I am going to stay for more time.

“They know that I’m loving it, at every level.

“I’m loving my job at Manchester United, and they know that if one day they bring the contract, I will sign it.

“I don’t even need my advisers, I’ll sign because I am loving it.”

Mourinho in his recent interview did not fail to admit that the China money is very “attractive”.

He, howver, admits that he loves his football at the highest level more.

The portuguese tactician says at 53, he is way too young, and has too many years of football to go to a place like China.

Mourinho did also reveal that United is his most difficult place to win at, but says he is “in the right place.”

United, having struggled through the season so far have won their last three matches.

They now look all set in the race for the top four and beyond.
