Stunning Michelle Obama Cover on Vogue Magazine’s Final Issue For 2016
Arguably America’s most classy First Lady, Michelle Obama opens up on her role as First Lady as she stuns on the cover of Vogue magazine.
Michelle Obama in her recent interview with Vogue said she ‘defined her own role as First Lady.’
The ‘mom in chief’ slays in white on the front cover of the publication’s December 2016 issue.
Michelle who has two daughters Malia (18) and Sasha (15) with husband and outgoing president Barack Obama shared her thoughts.
This is her third cover shoot for the magazine.
With Barack Obama’s administration coming to an end, Michelle has been reflecting on the last eight years in the White House.
“[I could have] spent eight years doing anything, and at some level, it would have been fine.
“I could have focused on flowers. I could have focused on decor. I could have focused on entertainment.
“Because any first lady, rightfully, gets to define her role.
“There’s no legislative authority; you’re not elected. And that’s a wonderful gift of freedom.”

Michelle, however, was never going to sit back and pass up an opportunity to make a difference.
She explained how children looked to people in the public eye for advice and influence on how to live their lives.
“They hang on my every word, what I wear, what I say. That means something to me.
“Maybe because I still have kids and I know that they’re influenced by people they look up to.
“But it makes us want to live right and do right and be right every single day.
“So that we don’t ever disappoint these kids and they have something to hold on to, and so that they know.
“As I say all the time — I can do this. You can do this.”
Even her husband, outgoing President Obama had this to say about, Michelle:
“People see themselves in her.
“A dedicated mom, a good friend, and someone who’s not afraid to poke a little fun at herself from time to time.”
