After a most exciting family holiday, former American First Lady Michelle Obama will feature in a reality television show, Masterchef.
Michelle who has been holidaying on warm destinations like Palm Springs and the Caribbean with her hubby Barack is getting back to work!
This time, she will serve as a guest judge on the upcoming season of Gordon Ramsay’s hit show, Masterchef Junior.
Apart from Michelle, several famous chefs and celebrities will act as guest judges.
These new judges would be replacing long-time MasterChef Junior judge Graham Elliot, including Martha Stewart and the Muppets.
Incidentally, this wouldn’t be the first time Michelle Obama would be featuring on a cooking show.
Last year, Michelle Obama filmed an episode of Barefoot Contessa with host Ina Garten at the White House.
Throughout her tenure in the White house, Michelle Obama served as an outspoken advocate for healthy eating.
She did this and ultimately established her charity, the Let’s Move! campaign.
Her “Turnip for what? ” vine became a viral sensation as she urged children to embrace and enjoy their fruits and veggies.
Michelle Obama On Masterchef Junior As Judge
Back in 2015, Michelle vowed to “fight back” against adverts for unhealthy foods, especially in school lunches.
She was an advocate for fighting childhood obesity during her time as the first lady.
Despite being used to some spectacular cooking as Former First Lady, contestants on the MasterChef Junior show take cooking to a whole new level.
Gordon Ramsay, anchor of the show describes the newest batch of contestants “bloody good.”
The young chefs look all set to turnip the heat in the kitchen.
Since leaving the White House as First Lady in January, Michelle and Barack Obama have spent some much-needed quality time together away from the public eye.
